Order Processing

Merchandise will be shipped within one business day (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays) of our receipt of the order on all items currently in stock. Orders are shipped via UPS, and will be delivered according to the UPS transit time guarantee for the level of service selected. Within the continental United States you can generally expect to receive your purchase within five business days or fewer of the order being shipped. Transit times for UPS Ground, the most economical level of service, can be viewed on this map.

Please provide a valid street address as UPS does not deliver to PO boxes. Orders that are not accompanied by a valid street address will be subject to an additional delay until an appropriate address is obtained.

Textbook Orders

Textbook orders will ship once the entire order is in stock. Partial shipments incur additional shipping service charges of $6.00 per shipment. Please call 412-648-1560 if you wish to receive items as they are available.

Rush Orders

Expedited UPS services are available for time-sensitive orders. Next Day Air delivers within one business day after the order has shipped, and Second Day Air delivers within two business days after the order has shipped.

Pricing

Shipping Rates:

Ground $7.95 per order

2nd Day*: $14.95 per order

For Diploma frame an additional $8 is added to the base shipping rate.

For Chairs an additional $60 is added to the base rate.

*Please note that "second day" means you will receive your order two days after it ships.

Shipping charges are non-refundable. All textbook orders for pick up in store, must be retrieved within the add drop period at the beginning of the school term. After the add/drop period has ended, remaining textbook orders will be shipped to the customer at ground rate and billed to the customer. All other merchandise for in-store pick up must be retrieved within 30 days. After 30 days, remaining orders will be shipped to the customer at ground rate and billed to the customer.

Tracking

If you provide an e-mail address, a tracking number will be automatically sent to you when your order is shipped. Use this number to check the status of your items while they are in transit by visiting the UPS website at www.ups.com.

International Shipping

The University Store on Fifth can provide international shipping. Due to the many variables associated with such shipments, we ask that you call 800-648-1451 during our normal business hours and we will be happy to assist you. Please be aware that customs regulations may levy additional fees or taxes to you that will not be reflected in our quoted shipping charges and for which you will be responsible.

Returns

Returns must be received within 30 days from the date you receive your order for general merchandise and 7 days from the date you receive your order for textbooks. Textbooks are not returnable after the add/drop period for each term. All returns must be shipped pre-paid. Returns must be accompanied with a receipt. Merchandise is not returnable after 30 days for general merchandise, and seven days for textbooks.
