Irrgang's rendition is a vibrant watercolor painting of the Heinz Memorial Chapel. Her illustration of Heinz Chapel is framed by close-ups of stone, metal and wood architectural aspects of this magnificent building. Irrgang is a former staff member in Pitt’s Computing Services and Systems Development office and a Pitt alum three times over.

About the Artist
"Taking a drawing class was a requirement for my design degree. I thought it was a waste of everyone’s time since I couldn’t draw. I actually told them no thank you but I still had to take it. Little did I know, I was teachable and ended up loving it. Recently I have been able to spend more time painting and have concentrated on my love of the buildings on campus. I hope you enjoy Cathedral of Learning, Pitt Stadium Memories and Pennsylvania Hall Memories. I’ll be adding to the collection so look for those too!"
